Tub to Shower Conversions: Upgrade to a Safer, Smarter Space

At Baths By Schnorr, we help homeowners in the Hudson Valley trade outdated or underused bathtubs for sleek, modern walk-in showers—all without a major renovation. If you rarely take baths, or if stepping over a tub wall is becoming a safety concern, our tub-to-shower conversions offer the perfect solution.

This is one of our most requested services, and for good reason: the result is a bathroom that’s more functional, more attractive, and easier to maintain. Best of all, most conversions can be completed in just one day.

Why Make the Switch?

The way we use our bathrooms changes over time. Whether you’re looking to simplify your morning routine or improve accessibility, converting your bathtub to a shower creates a more practical, modern layout.

Homeowners choose this service when they:

• Want a safer, low-threshold option for aging in place

• Rarely use the tub and want to maximize usable space

• Prefer a cleaner, more open bathroom design

And because we work with your existing bathroom footprint, there’s no need for a full-scale remodel. You get a major upgrade—without the major hassle.

Clean, Modern Shower Designs

Your new shower will be more than functional—it’ll be beautiful, too. At Baths By Schnorr, we offer a wide selection of wall surrounds, fixtures, and accessories to help you create a space that feels like you.

Custom Acrylic Surrounds

Our premium acrylic surrounds are built for durability and easy cleaning. Choose from a variety of finishes that mimic tile, stone, or smooth walls—without the grout lines. The material resists mold, mildew, and stains, so your bathroom stays fresh and low-maintenance.

Doors, Fixtures, and Accessories

Whether you love a modern frameless glass door or prefer something more traditional, we offer options to match every style. You can also customize your space with features like:

• Built-in shelves or corner caddies

• Comfortable shower seats

• Grab bars for added safety

• Handheld sprayers for flexibility

We’ll walk you through all the choices to ensure your new shower fits your routine and your taste.

A Process You Can Count On

We’ve been in the remodeling business for over 25 years, and our approach is simple: quality work, no pressure, and a smooth customer experience. You’ll know what to expect from day one—no surprises, no sales games.
